What will it take for you to truly believe in the power of Jesus? Throughout the gospel of John we are told that there are people who follow Jesus because the events were like a circus - they want to see the signs and follow the freak show. They are not really interested in deep commitment to Jesus, but they like the show. But, for the leader in our story today, his approach to Jesus was deeply personal. His son was ill and in danger of dying. Jesus' compassion is beautiful, and His power transcends distance. Jesus' true character is shown, and the man believes. He then sees that Jesus is who He has claimed.
