An Introduction

This morning we are introducing a new sermon series. The author of the Gospel of John was one of Jesus' best friends while He lived on earth. Much later in life it was John's desire to pass on his first-hand knowledge to others so that they would "believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name (John 20:31). During this series we will be looking at John's description of the life, ministry, teaching, and suffering of Jesus, and learn what it means to believe in Him.
