Audience of One

We begin the sermon with Mike Hubbard's favorite passage. Paul was a scholar who was working his way to the top of the religious world. He had much to brag as he built a reputation before his world. Then he met Christ and everything changed. The things that once brought meaning he now sees as worthless rubbish because it was replaced with something, or specifically someone who was much better. His whole goal is to know Christ and live his life before the face of God. This too is our goal, to live our entire lives for an audience of one.
