Character and Calling

Are you growing? How do you know? If you are a gardener growing a plant it would be easy to know. Just look at that green plant come out of the dirt and start to stretch upward toward the sun. Believe it or not, Peter is reminding them that growth as a follower of Jesus is nearly as recognizable. There is a visible transformation as a result of grace in our lives as we partner with Him in the transformation of character and values. Peter will give us a list of character traits that should be visibly growing in our lives, and then a warning to those of us who do not see growth in these traits.
