Destiny

Welcome, and we are hoping that your celebration of Christmas was joyful! In the last message from the Bah Humbug Advent series, we will look at what happens when, or rather, right after we take our last breath? The last big life question we will examine is that of our ultimate destiny. Will we be worm food, recycled, live as angels with little harps on clouds? The truth is that anyone answering that question is doing nothing more than speculating, because no one living has actually been there. Well, with one exception. The Christmas message is beautiful and simple. First, the Baby in the manger actually came from the eternal realm and stepped into time and space to become one of us. But then He died--- meaning that, in His humanity, Jesus has been to the other side, and then in His resurrection, He came back again. On multiple levels, He is the only one to speak with authority about our ultimate destiny. So, we close our Bah Humbug series by looking at what may be for us the most important question---one that has implications for eternity.
