Discipleship

Apr 29, 2018 • Mike Hubbard • Series: Family Vacation

Any vacation needs a destination and a plan to get there. Clark Griswold decided to take his family to Walley World, and to get there in a green station wagon. They had a destination, a map, and a plan. Of course, it never goes as planned, but failure to set a destination and a path is the easiest way to ruin any vacation. God created the family as the primary place for discipleship and parents are the primary disciple maker for their children. Families need a vision for the destination, a clear road map, and snacks for the trip to get there. The goal for this sermon will be to encourage families of all shapes and sizes to set an atmosphere for discipleship and lay some specific plans to help everyone in the family reach the beach.
