Do

Take a long look at the man in the mirror. That is a common phrase in our culture. But, what does it mean? Usually when someone is told to look at the man in the mirror, they are looking at their potential and their flaws. See, that's what mirrors do, they show us who we really are. But a lot of times, we have no interest in seeing our faults, so we avoid the mirrors. As we continue looking at the book of James, James is going to tell us that God's word is like a mirror, and that for our lives to work, we have to look honestly in the mirror and apply it to our lives.
