Experience

We gather each week to experience the presence and grace of God together. We call this our worship service, which is appropriate in terms of a goal. But, just coming together with a few songs and a sermon does not guarantee worship. Worship is a response to the One True and Living God who makes Himself known. Yet, God has commanded His people come together regularly to exalt Jesus and encourage one another. In this context we are commanded to sing, pray, read Scripture, celebrate, repent, hear the word preached. As a church we value this time, and will work to make this gathering an experience with the living God.
