Generosity

"It is more blessed to give than to receive." These are Jesus' own words. Problem is that we don't really believe this. A recent study by pollster George Barna showed that, on average, we give less than 3% of our income to any charity, and only one in four church-going evangelical Christians tithe, or give 10% of their income to the cause of the Gospel. This morning we will continue our short series on stewardship titled, What’s in Your Wallet?, and hopefully we will find that a generous God will produce a generous people. In this sermon we hope to teach basic Biblical principles taught in Scripture on giving, and discover that this is God’s plan to bring blessing into your life.
