God of this City

For the past several months we have been working through the Old Testament book of Nehemiah, a great book with an incredible story. God was in his people, and the book is gives us a picture of how God builds his people. The walls were built around Jerusalem , and the people experienced an incredible spiritual awakening. But what does that have to do with us here today? God is still at work and He is still on mission. He still loves people, and has a purpose for Eureka. And much like the people in Nehemiah’s day, we too have the incredible opportunity to live as the people of God here, knowing that He is the God of this city.
