He Has Done All Things Well

The new Busch Stadium had just opened with a Cardinal win, 'The Simpsons Movie' was the top movie in the land, American Idol was the top TV show, President George W. Bush was getting ready for a visit from the President of China, and Iran announced they had enriched uranium. These are the big events from this week in 2006, but on a different front five years ago, two people walked out on the stage of Eureka High School to perform a quick sketch, and so began the public worship services of Genesis Church. In the time leading up to April 16th (Easter Sunday) and the five years after, we have seen the grace and glory of God in so many ways. Today we get the honor of celebrating five years of being a church, and echoing the words of people about Jesus in the Gospel of Mark, "He has done all things well."
