Hell

I have actually spent a lot of time trying to find an alternative to the idea of hell. It would be so much easier to be a Christian and our faith would be so much more acceptable if we could just disregard or reinterpret the eternal judgment of hell. But, to do this we would have to ignore and deny a significant number of passages in the Scriptures, many of which came from the lips of Jesus. In fact, Jesus teaches more on this subject than any other person. So, our job is to faithfully struggle with the true teaching on this subject and live with the urgency the doctrine of hell should produce in us.
