Leaders

Franklin Roosevelt once said, "It is a terrible thing to look over your shoulder when you are trying to lead only to find there is no one there." Leaders are vital in any organization, including the church of God. We have so many horrible examples in our culture and time of Christian leaders who have no character and no vision for God’s people. Nehemiah is a great leader, and the book of Nehemiah has all kinds of leadership lessons. God builds his people by giving them the right kind of leaders. But we must always be careful that we choose the right people for the right reasons, because leaders do reproduce themselves.
