Living Water

The story begins by telling us that Jesus had to go through Samaria. No good Jew has to go through Samaria, but we learn that Jesus intends to intentionally engage someone who is outcast, irreligious, sinful. This is so amazing, most religious people in that day and in ours would distance themselves from the Woman at the Well. But, Jesus enters into a loving conversation that leads to a discussion on the nature of worship. What we find is that True Worship is the same thing as drinking deeply from the Well that provides Living Water.
