Living With Persecution - Part 1

We have a great privilege to have David & Brenda Meyer, missionary church planters to Ecuador with us this morning. They will share stories from their journey of sharing Jesus and planting a church in Cayambe. Our church already supports the Meyers as they are on mission in Ecuador, and you may consider going to Ecuador with a mission team we are sending next summer. We will also turn to 1 Peter and begin a 3 week look at what this letter has to say about persecution & suffering for the cause of Jesus. While we do not have deep persecution here yet, it may be that those days are coming. So we need to prepare ourselves to honor Christ no matter what the culture believes about Jesus. And we will feel a solidarity with other believers around the world who suffer for Christ.
