Offended Or Commissioned

Cards are in Spring Training, and we have had a few warmer days in the last couple weeks. Don’t know about you, but it got me thinking about summer. Also may have prompted you to start thinking weeks of vacation, get aways with family, and scheduling weeks off of work. So, where are you going this summer? That is the theme of our service today as we want to challenge you to consider the possibility of vacationing for the glory of God. We will look at the life of Jesus in the book of Mark and find that some people are offended by the mission and message of Jesus, while others are commissioned by him. We will also tell you about four incredible adventures you can be a part of this summer, and start sharing how you can jump on board. While doing this, we have some very special guest with us, people who are living the adventure God has for them in Ecuador and Haiti. We also want to invite everyone to join us for a meeting immediately after the service to get more information about two international trips we will be taking to these two countries.
