Parables About Prayer

The story of the Gospel centers on a God who is personal and pursues a relationship with His people. He is a speaking God, and a listening God. Prayer is vital in the path of growing in our relationship with God. Among the parables told by Jesus are two simple stories encouraging his disciples to pray and not give up. The first focuses on the importance of persistence, of continuing to offer our requests to God.
