What would you do if you only had one day left to live? It is a question I've been asked as an icebreaker many times. The reason that question is so useful as an icebreaker is because it shows where a person's priorities are, and what is important to them. Over the years, my answer to that question has changed as new things became a priority in my life. As we continue in John, we find Jesus is in the last 24 hours of His earthly life. He is about to go to the cross, and He knows it. But what He does in that moment shows where His priorities are. In Jesus' last moments before He goes to the cross, He stops to pray for all His followers: past, present, and future. That means that Jesus stopped and prayed for our church family at Genesis. Today we are going to look at what Jesus prayed for us, and what it means for our lives.
