Put on the New Self in Christ

Last week we talked about how Christ has raised us from spiritual death. Before we encountered Jesus, we were dead men and women walking, but Christ came and died to pay for our sins. On Easter Sunday, He rose from the dead, defeating death forever, and those who follow Jesus are raised from death spiritually. This week, we are discussing how that effects our daily lives. If Christ has raised us from the dead, then we can never be the same person again. In the last sermon in this series from Colossians, Paul is going to tell us how we should live now that we are made alive in Christ and how to take off our old identity and put on our new identity.
