Red Letters: Climbing The Character Ladder, Part 1

We were watching a comedian on TV who gave his formula for a life that works; "Happy wife, happy life," he declared. While there is a lot of truth to the statement, it was a humorous reminder that people are searching for a formula for a life that is happy. Think about it, what do you believe would make you happy today? And is happiness enough? As Jesus teaches his disciples in the Sermon on the Mount, he will explain the character that leads to blessing. It will be interesting to see if our search for a happy, blessed life finds us searching in the right places.
