Red Letters: Doing Religion Without Being Religious - Prayer Part 1

May 10, 2009 • Mike Hubbard • Series: Red Letters

A vast majority of Americans pray on a weekly basis. Prayer is probably the religious activity done by the most people, with all sorts of reasons and approaches. Do you pray? Why? What do you hope will happen as you pray? In his Sermon on the Mount, Jesus taught his desciples how to pray, but he begins by telling them how not to pray. And we may find today that many of us approach prayer in ways that miss the point. In the message today, MIke will be sharing eight ways that religious people tend to approach prayer, and the key if we want to Do Religion without Being Religious in our prayers.
