"Teach us to pray." Wouldn't it be incredible if we could have Jesus come talk with us about the best way to communicate with God? What would he say? How would his words impact our prayer lives? As Jesus taught His disciples about the expression of their religious lives, he gave them a model for how to pray. The "Our Father" or "Lord's prayer" is so much more than something to be memorized and quoted. In this prayer, Jesus is taking us to depths of prayer, and the beauty of deep communication with our heavenly Father.
