Red Letters: Doing Religion Without Being Religious - Prayer Part 3

May 24, 2009 • Mike Hubbard • Series: Red Letters

We use this weekend to honor the men and women who have given their lives to protect our country, and like everyone else, we as a church are grateful for our freedom purchased with their blood. It is a reminder to us that freedom is never free, and that as these people died for our national freedom, Jesus gave his blood to provide spiritual freedom and a relationship with our Creator. God initiated a conversation with us, and has invited us to live on mission with him. But this mission is part of a war, an ongoing battle for the lives of people. Today we will look at how prayer is the conduit providing power for the life on mission with God.
