Sex, Marriage, and Singleness, Part 2

In the midst of our culture's confusion about sexuality, many believe that the best response for Christ-followers is to take a loving posture of open acceptance, approaching people with the loving arm of grace. Others will see the need to stand on truth in an unwavering conviction and clarity. Those from both approaches will look to Jesus as the model to follow, while often focusing on different elements of His life and ministry. Make no mistake, Jesus was clear about the Biblical teaching on sexuality; yet, his posture toward people was deeply loving and compelling. We need to take a good look at how the Gospel will shape our words, posture, and lives as God calls us to faithfully represent Christ at this moment in time.
