Stewardship

Jesus taught more about money and possessions than any other subject, and the gist is that Jesus taught that there is a clear connection between our attitude about stuff and greenbacks and our discipleship. He actually warned that we cannot serve both God and money, we will eventually cling to one and begin to despise the other. This series, "What's in Your Wallet?," will look at Jesus own words on this issue from Luke 12 and will help all of us understand that all we are and all we own actually belongs to God. This morning we will look at a guy who had a great portfolio and an outstanding savings plan, but had a basic misunderstanding of who really owned his stuff.
