Storms

Feb 12, 2017 • Mike Hubbard • Series: Believe

"It was now dark... the sea became rough because a strong wind was blowing." For the disciples, this storm was dangerous. To be four miles out on the Sea of Galilee in the midst of the storm would leave them in danger and feeling like all their effort was gaining them nothing but more frustration. What got them in this situation in the first place, is that they left on their own when they could not find Jesus. Now they are in peril. But what happened next caught all of them off guard. We too have storms; all sizes, all shapes. Life can feel dark and our lives can feel like an out-of-control boat. We need a worldview and faith that is sufficient for these moments. What we will learn is that the One who walked on water is really the only resource sufficient for the storm.
