Today we are headed to Silicon Valley for our Family Vacation. The world of the smart phone, iPad, video games, and apps has changed the way we live our lives and go about doing family. We have come a long way from typewriter ribbon, corded phones, and a TV with a turn dial and an antenna to find the channels. As with all things, technology has incredible positives and amazing uses, but it is also wrought with dangers for ourselves and kids. Isaiah warned of the dangers of replacing the One True God with a god we can hold in our hands or place on the mantle. This sermon will look at pitfalls and challenges technology brings but also some of the positive aspects and uses. Our goal is give parents some principles and plans, as well as some resources for leading the family in this area.
