Temptation

Have you ever done any bluegill fishing. You know, put a worm on a hook, add a bobber, drop it in. The fish come up and start nibbling, and you watch the bobber do a little dance. They keep tapping it, almost like they know the worm is danger, but they just can’t swim away. Then one of them goes for it, grabs the whole thing. You know this has happened because the bobber goes from dancing to all out running away, so you jerk the line, set the hook, and bingo, fish fry! Temptation in our lives looks a lot like this, and James is going to challenge us to be very careful how we respond to temptation.
