The Day of the Lord

An old hymn sung in many churches starts with the line, "When the trumpet of the Lord will sound, and time shall be no more…" Many sing the song often without stopping to think of the implications. But, the big story of the Bible points us to a last day, a final day in human history where Christ will return as the True King to judge and rule. The Bible calls this event "The Day of the Lord," and the implication is that we must be ready. Today we will look at this important day, the implications, and be reminded that for those who love Jesus, this is a day of great hope!
