One of the deepest longings we experience from the time we are born is the need to be known and loved. Paul reminds us that God demonstrated His love for us through the story of Jesus, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. This is the love that saved us from God's wrath and reconciled enemies to God. The love of God known in Jesus is the only love that will truly fill our soul.
