The God Who Delivers

Feb 22, 2015 • Mike Hubbard • Series: I Am

Oh, I wish I could have been there. The mere idea of walking through the parted Red Sea on dry ground, seeing a wall of water held back by a wind sent by God, what an amazing moment experienced by God's people. Of course, for us it seems incredible. None of us has ever had such an experience, and it may make this difficult to believe. From a human perspective this event is completely impossible, and somewhat ridiculous. But, if Exodus is really the story of the Creator God accomplishing His purpose, then for the One who breathes out stars, parting a small sea on this little planet is really not that impossible. Beyond the spectacle, the story shows us the lengths our God will go to accomplish His purpose on the earth, and the power by which He does it.
