The God Who Judges

Feb 8, 2015 • Mike Hubbard • Series: I Am

There are some sections of the Bible that are hard. The story of the 10 plagues is one of those. Pharaoh has exalted himself as the deity of Egypt, and is leading the nation in an incredible injustice. Nobody is innocent. As God delivers the Hebrews, He is going to act mightily on their behalf, but He will also extend the arm of justice. Our culture does not like the idea of God as a judge. It seems to harsh. But, the truth is that the alternative to God being a just judge is exponentially worse. We will be reminded of that today.
