The God Who Redeems

Jan 4, 2015 • Mike Hubbard • Series: I Am

400 years. That is how long the descendants of Abraham had been waiting for God to act. In that time they became slaves under the rule of a genocidal maniac. Life was hard, it was broken, it was dark. God seemed to be nothing more than a distant memory only found in stories from long ago. But, the book of Exodus is the story of a God who acts and shows Himself. God will redeem his people, and Exodus tells us that story. As we start our series on this incredible book we will see the character of God and that He acts on behalf of His people. And we will see that the God who redeemed His people from slavery in Egypt still redeems people from slavery today.
