The Gospel and Education

Oct 11, 2015 • Mike Hubbard • Series: Think Different

Children will end up spending a considerable amount of time in school, an average of 943 hours per year for elementary students and 1,016 for secondary. In this time they will learn to read, write, and do arithmetic. But, they will also have their worldview shaped in the process. Our schools in Eureka have some great Christian teachers, yet the philosophical approach of the district is secular. So what is the best option for school? And, how can parents help their kids navigate the challenges faced in the world of education. Today we hope to be challenged to "Think Different" about education, and we will discover what single most important factor in our effort to educate children.
