The Gospel and Exclusivity

"You want the truth, you can't handle the truth." A famous line from a movie reminds us that truth matters. But we live in a culture that doesn't want to believe in truth in an absolute sense. Much like Pilate when confronting Jesus, we ask, "What is truth?" And much like Pilate, our culture reject the personification of truth in the person of Jesus. When the idea of truth is rejected, so will all claims to the exclusivity of the Gospel. How can we hold to the truth of Jesus in a culture that rejects truth, but do it with grace? That is our question today.
