The Gospel and Gender

This morning we are going to step in to shark infested waters and address a challenging issue in our culture. As our culture goes through a moral revolution, one of the issues that has risen to the top is the issue of gender identity. The issue hit the forefront as Bruce Jenner became Kaitlyn, but it also hit close to home as one of our local schools became front and center for the culture war. It would be easy to avoid this topic, but truth is that the confusion that exists in our culture reaches into the church. There are deep Gospel implications connected to how we answer a simple question, is gender a social construct or is it rooted in something much deeper? Today we will tackle that question.
