The Gospel and Suffering

Nothing like having the Ace of Spades in a card game. Sometimes skeptics believe that the question of evil and suffering is their trump card, throwing it on the table can cause the best believer to fold. We believe that God is all powerful, has all knowledge, is present everywhere, is sovereign, and is good. But evil exists. Murders happen, hurricanes come, cancer attacks. Today we are going to look at a theological question called "Theodicy," and seek to show that not only does the Gospel answer this question, Christianity is really the only worldview that has a sufficient answer for our pain and the evil in the world.
