The Mind of Christ

The glorious message of the Gospel is our only hope. It is displayed in creation and revealed in the Old Testament. Furthermore, it came to its fullness in the person and work of Christ. So, why don't more people believe? Paul reminds us that there is an objective aspect of the Gospel--- that is the message we proclaim. But there is also a mysterious perspective of the Gospel, a work that can only be done by the Holy Spirit who opens blind eyes and who takes the physical words of the Gospel and makes them spiritual words of life to those who believe. The natural man cannot understand them, only those whose lives have been made alive in the Spirit and, therefore, have been given the mind of Christ can understand.
