The Parable of the Two Debtors

The setting was interesting. During a meal at a religious leader's house this woman with a pretty brutal reputation comes into the house and starts pouring a flask of ointment on Jesus' feet while she weeps uncontrollably while wiping His feet with her hair. That is enough to freak pretty much anyone out. Funny, what the religious leader is most worried about is that if Jesus was really a prophet He would know who the woman was and would distance herself. But, Jesus responds to his thoughts with a simple but profound story of two debtors. The story is about recognizing the depth of our own sinfulness and the height of grace.
