The Prayer of Nehemiah

The journey through Nehemiah ends with this sermon. We have found out the great story about a wall building project is really so much more, it is the story of how God builds his people. Along the way we have cast vision for Genesis, showing that the time may be different, but God keeps building a people for His glory and purpose. Brick upon brick, God puts things into the community of faith as He builds us according to his plan. But every brick and stone requires mortar to keep it in place and make the structure solid. For this sermon, we will look all through this great book to discover what that mortar was for Nehemiah, and what it has to be for us.
