The Talking Bush

Mar 17, 2013 • Mike Hubbard • Series: One Story. One Hero. One Mission.

Happy St. Patrick's Day. Sometimes it is fun to be a name dropper. You know, when you know someone that others see as important, but you know them on a first name basis, have their cell number and private Facebook page. When someone says, "You know, people call me Dr. Jones, but my friends call me Al" (made that up). This invitation to know and call someone by a different name is more than just the right to throw out a different title, it is an invitation into a deeper relationship, to know the person in a different way. Today, our message will look at a guy named Moses, and a crazy encounter with God as He spoke through a burning bush. At the heart of the story, God gives Moses a new name, the name only His friends can use.
