Aug 20, 2017 • Mike Hubbard • Series: Believe

The phenomenon is called "the rise of the nones." No, this is not referring to more female leaders in the Catholic church. Those who study polls use this term when speaking of the fact that more and more people here in our country, when asked about their religious affiliation, are checking the "none" box; hence, the rise of the nones. This tells us that there are more and more people who are openly stating that they do not believe in Christianity. For those of us who follow Christ, this should be obvious. It seems more and more difficult in our culture to believe in Christ and there are so many barriers. But, today we will see that this is really not new and that the issue is not the lack of evidence. Today, we are going to take a look at reasons people do not believe in Christ. We will also look at the evidence for Christianity. Finally, we will talk about how we, who follow Jesus, should respond in our culture.
