What Does Easter Mean for Gervis Moore?

On a Sunday morning about 2,000 years ago, a group of women went to a tomb to hold an informal funeral for their friend and leader. Jesus' death rocked their world and left them grieving and dejected. But this funeral was like no other one in history, because the one person who was supposed to be at the funeral decided not to keep the appointment. The events of that funeral still have far reaching implications for us, and for every person who has gone before us. This is the question we want to consider this morning in our celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus.
