Work

Aug 19, 2012 • Mike Hubbard • Series: Becoming Who You Are

"You get up every morning from the alarm clock's warning, take the 8:15 into the city... And if your train's on time you will get to work by 9, and start slaving at your job to get your pay." Classic rock band "BTO" put the struggle of working on earth into words, and for many of us, taking care of business is a monotonous drudgery as we go to our job, do our work, and come home exhausted. But, is there a greater purpose and possibility as we do our jobs? In our final installment of the series "Portrait of a Family" out of Ephesians, we will see that Paul addresses slaves and masters, but his words have a direct application for our lives as the alarm clock warns on Monday morning.
