This morning we are starting a new sermon series on the Old Testament prophetic book of Malachi. Malachi was written about 400 years before the birth of Jesus and are the last words God gave His people before Jesus. The theme of this book is worship, as God's spokesperson reminds His people that we are to continually put Jesus above all other things in our life and that all of life is worship. In today's message we will learn about the role of the prophet and the purpose of God's word in our lives.
