You Were Made For A Mission

You were made for a mission. In John 17:18 Jesus said, "As You (God the Father) sent me into the world, so I have sent them (followers of Jesus) into the world." The difference between a mission and a ministry is that ministry is to believers while mission is to unbelievers. If you're going to be a balanced believer you need both. You need a ministry to the body of Christ, the family of God, and you need a mission in the world. What are we sent to do? What's our mission? Paul explains in Acts 20:24 that the mission is to, "Testify to the Gospel of the grace of God." That's your mission. My fifth purpose in life is to share the good news. Today we will look at this last purpose from The Purpose Driven Life and talk about many ways you can see this purpose in your life.
